WEEKEND SERVICES - 11/16/13 - 11/17/13

Dearest Prayer Warriors!

We are in Chapter 6 of Zach's book  How to Worship A King or "THE KING"!

I woke up this a.m with such a gratefulness that praise would be continually on my mouth.
and thinking of Elizabeth Barrett Browning's lines from her poem...for her true love... but it so fits my heart to worship my King Jesus.

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height My soul can reach,
when feeling out of sight For the ends of being and ideal grace.
I love thee to the level of every day's Most quiet need,
by sun and candle-light. I love thee freely, as men strive for right.
I love thee purely, as they turn from praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use In my old griefs,
and with my childhood's faith. I love thee with a love
I seemed to lose With my lost saints.
I love thee with the breath, Smiles, tears, of all my life; and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee (HIM) better after death.

How do we put words to the Praises of God...Can we really praise Him with worthy words???

My heart is so grateful for the many times He has taken me through battles that were impossible...and healings that were nothing but miraculous.
And NOW being invited to serve on a steering committee to "adopt schools"  and it be a group of pastors who want to change the face of Texas politics... and not for what we believe is righteousness...
using faith and prayer to adopt schools as their entry and concern... we do need to change the face of politics, but our place as intercessors is on the front line as the Praise and Prayer Team who are willing to stand in the gap and take our place on the wall!

Zach's book reminded me that the battle is not mine not ours but HIS!
God's perfect timing...Chapter 6....What is Praise?

The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but
mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.
WE know who HE is, we know He is our creator, the Holy One of Israel, our Redeemer, our Savior, our Lord... we know He first loved us, we know He gave His only Begotten as the first born of many of whom we are one, just one.  Just one who can change the face of a school, change a community, change a city, change a state and change a nation.
We, you and I know that He is able to do all things abundantly above all that we could ask or think...

We are watching Him do something so very special at North Fort Worth Gateway... and we are SO GRATEFUL!  For our simple prayers to be anointed and in AGREEMENT with HIM!!  We continue to ask, What do you think Lord, How should we then pray?? and He fills our mouths with His Heart and His Destiny for souls coming in the doors!

We saw what prayer can do in a school!!  We witnessed God at Fossil Ridge High School...What a miracle... God is opening doors or should I say He is closing doors to the enemy through our prayers....
And now the schools of the State of Texas... years past as Christian Coalition chair for my county.. going to many meetings...one in Austin in particular stands out in my mind... a prophetic word that was brought forth...Satan was trying to take the US in a battle over Texas... when a national rag press got a hold of that...a giant front page picture of God and Satan battling over Texas hit the news stands...We know God can blow away the enemy but WE must take our positions on the wall...Not begging for His Help BUT Praising the Lord for His Victory...
Years ago I while in a worship service in Dallas God gave me a vision...it was high in the heavens above me but it was His Warring Angels holding back the forces of the enemy, they were like dark evil angels.  It made circle over head and I realized that was the open heaven that was created was by those angels doing battle...that is what happens in our praise and worship...He inhabits our praise because the His Army Angels hold back the forces of the enemy... So Amazing is our God!!

Zach used this Biblical Example to understand the weapons of our warfare...

2 Chronicles 20... King Jehoshaphat of Judah was being threatened by three armies and the situation seemed hopeless.
The Message
20 1-2 Some time later the Moabites and Ammonites, accompanied by Meunites, joined forces to make war on Jehoshaphat. Jehoshaphat received this intelligence report: “A huge force is on its way from beyond the Dead Sea to fight you. There’s no time to waste—they’re already at Hazazon Tamar, the oasis of En Gedi.”
3-4 Shaken, Jehoshaphat prayed. He went to God for help and ordered a nationwide fast. The country of Judah united in seeking God’s help—they came from all the cities of Judah to pray to God.
5-9 Then Jehoshaphat took a position before the assembled people of Judah and Jerusalem at The Temple of God in front of the new courtyard and said, “O God, God of our ancestors, are you not God in heaven above and ruler of all kingdoms below? You hold all power and might in your fist—no one stands a chance against you! And didn’t you make the natives of this land leave as you brought your people Israel in, turning it over permanently to your people Israel, the descendants of Abraham your friend? They have lived here and built a holy house of worship to honor you, saying, ‘When the worst happens—whether war or flood or disease or famine—and we take our place before this Temple (we know you are personally present in this place!) and pray out our pain and trouble, we know that you will listen and give victory.’
10-12 And now it’s happened: men from Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir have shown up. You didn’t let Israel touch them when we got here at first—we detoured around them and didn’t lay a hand on them. And now they’ve come to kick us out of the country you gave us. O dear God, won’t you take care of them? We’re helpless before this vandal horde ready to attack us. We don’t know what to do; we’re looking to you.”
13 Everyone in Judah was there—little children, wives, sons—all present and attentive to God.
14-17 Then Jahaziel was moved by the Spirit of God to speak from the midst of the congregation. (Jahaziel was the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah the Levite of the Asaph clan.) He said, “Attention everyone—all of you from out of town, all you from Jerusalem, and you King Jehoshaphat—God’s word: Don’t be afraid; don’t pay any mind to this vandal horde. This is God’s war, not yours. Tomorrow you’ll go after them; see, they’re already on their way up the slopes of Ziz; you’ll meet them at the end of the ravine near the wilderness of Jeruel. You won’t have to lift a hand in this battle; just stand firm, Judah and Jerusalem, and watch God’s saving work for you take shape. Don’t be afraid, don’t waver. March out boldly tomorrow—God is with you.”
18-19 Then Jehoshaphat knelt down, bowing with his face to the ground. All Judah and Jerusalem did the same, worshiping GodThe Levites (the priests...YOU!! who are the Royal Priesthood) (both Kohathites and Korahites) stood to their feet to praise God, the God of Israel; they praised at the top of their lungs!  (that is us!)
20 They were up early in the morning, (8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, You have been faithful!)  ready to march into the wilderness of Tekoa (TEXAS). As they were leaving, Jehoshaphat stood up and said, “Listen Judah and Jerusalem! Listen to what I have to say! Believe firmly in God, your God, and your lives will be firm! Believe in your prophets and you’ll come out on top!” (Thank you Lord for our Gateway Leadership and their Wisdom and Faithfulness to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ)
21 After talking it over with the people, Jehoshaphat appointed a choir for God; dressed in holy robes, they were to march ahead of the troops, singing,
Give thanks to God,
His love never quits.
22-23 As soon as they started shouting and praising, God set ambushes against the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir as they were attacking Judah, and they all ended up dead. The Ammonites and Moabites mistakenly attacked those from Mount Seir and massacred them. Then, further confused, they went at each other, and all ended up killed.
24 As Judah came up over the rise, looking into the wilderness for the horde of barbarians, they looked on a killing field of dead bodies—not a living soul among them.
25-26 When Jehoshaphat and his people came to carry off the plunder they found more loot than they could carry off—equipment, clothing, valuables. It took three days to cart it away! On the fourth day they came together at the
Valley of Blessing (Beracah) and blessed God (that’s how it got the name, Valley of Blessing).
(Our inheritance is a lost and dying world...Children who God is calling into His Kingdom)  God send the workers because the harvest is white)

27-28
Jehoshaphat then led all the men of Judah and Jerusalem back to Jerusalem—an exuberant parade. God had given them joyful relief from their enemies! They entered Jerusalem and came to The Temple of God with all the instruments of the band playing.
29-30 When the surrounding kingdoms got word that God had fought Israel’s enemies, the fear of God descended on them. Jehoshaphat heard no more from them; as long as Jehoshaphat reigned, peace reigned.
31-33 That about sums up Jehoshaphat’s reign over Judah. He was thirty-five years old when he became king and ruled as king in Jerusalem for twenty-five years. His mother was Azubah daughter of Shilhi. He continued the kind of life characteristic of his father Asa—no detours, no dead-ends—pleasing God with his life. But he failed to get rid of the neighborhood sex-and-religion shrines—people continued to pray and worship at these idolatrous god shops.

HOW SHOULD WE THEN PRAY and HOW SHOULD WE THEN LIVE?? Let us not fail to hear His Voice and Pray His Heart!

Zach shared it like this!!  Psalm 149:6-9 NIV

May the praise of God be in their (our) mouths and a double-edged sword in their (our) hands, to inflict vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples, to bind their kings with fetters, their nobles with shackles of iron, to carry out the sentence written against them.  This is the glory of all his saints.  Praise the Lord"

How do we love Thee, let us count the ways We love Thee to the depth and breadth and height our souls can reach.  Praise the King!!

Thank you dear prayer team for your precious fervent prayers that avail much!!
Pray with me for God's Victory over the State of affairs of Texas and the Nation...
We will PRAISE His victory in!!

We Praise Him for His Victory over Texas!
Yours in Christ!
Suzanne

WEEKEND SERVICE - 11/9/13 - 11/10/13

Dearest Prayer Warriors,

Last week we went through "How to Worship A King" Chapter 6 on What is Praise. There are few points that I really want to bring to our attention from what we learned from last week.

1. Praise is more specially, an expression of respect or gratitude as an act of Worship. Praise can actually be an expression of Worship. Worship begins with the motivation of loving and honoring God. That motivation must have expression, and praise is one of the expressions that complete the act of Worship.

With all this statements made by Pastor Zach, it's just

Once again THANK YOU SO MUCH for always here during our prayer time.

Love you all very much!
