Congregational Worship and Prayer Team: What is worship? Worship, defined many ways by many people, is, put simply, love expressed. Like a prayer to a melody, worship is our communication of love to God. You are a worshiper. Whether you are driving in your car, spending time with your family, standing in a congregation, or standing on a church platform, you are a worshiper. You are one who turns your heart toward a focus. What is there or who is there more worthy of worship than God? When we worship God, when we turn our hearts to him, things change. You are a leader. Leadership, at its core, is influence. You have influence. You influence people every day. The question is not, "will you influence?" The question is, "how will you influence?" Will you lead those around you to turn their hearts to God in an expression of love?
